Finally Some Good news

Their is finaly some movement on the goverment inaction to investigate Mary-Kate Olsen in the death of Heath Ledger.

Federal drug investigators have taken over the inquiry into the January 22 death of actor Heath Ledger in a New York apartment, a law enforcement source told CNN Thursday.

Ledger, 28, an Oscar-nominated Australian actor, died of an accidental overdose of six types of medication, according to the New York City medical examiner's office.

This was no accident. Why else would that one lady call Mary-Kate over and over instead of the police? I posit it was because they were trying to find someone (like Winston Wolf only RL) to take care of the body.

The law enforcement source said the federal drug investigators are trying to determine if the drugs were prescribed legally, and are looking at two doctors -- one based in California and another in Texas.

They should aslo look on the cast of FULL HOUSE.

Remember on Tuesday when STarBucks closed all of it's stores to finaly train there bartenders how to make coffee?

It reminded me of an especially evocative and timely lyric from a Chris Caffery song:

Which also reminded me when I first started the original Stop The Neocons blog (since tooken over by Azn's) I wasnt even old enough to drink coffee legaly in Utah.

Life In SPace Discovered

According to this story, some scientists in Indiana discovered some signs of Type IV extraterrestrial life in a galaxy 13000 light years away.

It is the furthest galaxy on the record. The galaxy Abell 1835 IR1916 is located about 13,230 million light-years away. Hence, it is seen at a time when the Universe was merely 470 million years young, that is, barely 3 percent of its current age.

BTW that part realy stuck it to the evangelicals who thought that Earth was only 6 milion years old.

Scientists are finding extraterrestrial influence in this galaxy. It seems the galaxy was engineered and fit into place by artificial forces

This is the part where I hope the forces of science urge caution. See the only kind of civilizatoin capable of doing thi is a type IV civilization. Not a type III or a Type V. Type IV. That means that we need to proceed cautiously. Type IV civilizations always have this way of destroying first and ask questions later. One need only look no farther then Star Trek III Wrath of Kahn and the next one (Search for Spock) to know the dangers inherit with dealing with Type IV civilizations who can engineer galaxies, especially galaxies 13000 million years ago. If they could do that back then, think of how bad they can screw up with 130000 million years of science advance now.

Just something to think about.

Oscars Weekend RoundUp

I guess just my disapointment that George Clooney was shut out of Oscars contention yet again was tempered by relief that so many Europeons were finally recognized for there cultural acheivements in American cinema today. I say ABOUT TIme. It was real cool that the guy with bad hair (Anton Chigger) and that lesbian woman won because they were both Eurpean (culturally far more advanced than the USA).

Back to George Clooney for a moment. It just seems like his career has been one steady down word spiral since he left Chicago Hope. I think it bears looking in to because it just seems the acadamy awards people have it out for him. Plus with that recent George Clooney sex scandal still fresh in are minds it realy reeks of oscar fixing.

First of all the USA was still reeling from the (alleged) terorist attacks (since debunked) against the WTC and pentgon, etc. It was spooky times, especially for outspoken and like minded forward thinkers like I was.

This is the way the neocons noise machine worked back then. People like me were all like: "Hey, McCain is bonking that woman and she's a LOBBYIST"

Then the M$M (main stream media) was all like: "9/11! Terrorists! war on Iraq! yadayadayaya"

Then we were all like: "Stpo trying to make us live in fear to facilitate your immoral war! The real story isnt Afganistan, its McCain!"

Then the M$M was like: "Shoe Bomber! Anthrax in the mail! Etc!"

It was real dark times but now that Bu$hs lame duck presidancy is almost over their is a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel"

Heavy cell phone use tied to poorer sperm quality

NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - Spending hours on a cell phone each day may affect the quality of a man's sperm, preliminary research suggests.

I dont have a cell phone so in that regards, my sperm is health and vibrant. It does cause concern about possible side affects of second hand cell phone.

On average, the more hours the men spent on their cell phones each day, the lower their sperm count and the greater their percentage of abnormal sperm.

That coincides with what I heard in group a couple weeks ago. The more hours I spend on the internet, the lower my sperm count will be. Not sure I completely buy into t hat notion but the findings above give me some concerns.

"Our results show a strong association of cell phone use with decreased semen quality. However, they do not prove a cause-and- effect relationship," lead researcher Dr. Ashok Agarwal told Reuters Health.

FYI I still havent got a definitive answer from Luke Cramer about if his product really works as advertised. Mostly the jist of it was it would make mangoo taste better (and more).

Agarwal said he and his colleagues have two studies underway aiming to shed light on the issue. In one, they are exposing semen samples to electromagnetic radiation from cell phones to see what, if any, effects occur.

They should check and see if setting the cell phone to vibrate does any harm just based on the principal that if you wear boxers then your bits and peaces are exposed to more damage during the day. Like, they get cold, cats swat at them as you walk by, etc.

I just thing the major of Berkley has been gone above and beyond in his generous gesture to help the marines retreat from Berkley. Its really a winwin situation if you thing about it. The marines get to retreat again with there heads held high and the students of Berkley dont have to worry about there babies being "recruited" (brainwash) to die in Iraq for Bushs oil.

If I was Chesty Puller (marine commandmant) I would jump on this opportunity in a heart beat. Its win win.

Heath Ledger Funeral

I'm just wondering if any one has information about when Heath Ledgers funeral is going to be.

Its ok to ask, right? He's been dead for 10 days now (seems like so long since he was with us) so I hope the funeral is soon because if they wait much longer they will probably have to bring in extra flowers or some scented candles.
